Kitchen cabinet sliding door screws
By admin | September 8, 2009
I have just bought an apartment which has an IKEA fitted kitchen. I have no idea which model it is.
Above the sink there is a cabinet with two rectangular sliding doors. On one of them, the rail bracket on the door is loose (the hook-like piece screwed into a slide on the door, from which it hangs). The hex-screw’s head has been stripped by whoever tried to tighten it.
I can’t tighten it, and I also do not particularly want to have a cabinet door which looks like it’s hanging off. This also affects the smooth rolling of the other door.
I will try to take a photo later today but if anyone has any idea if/where I can buy replacement screws, I’d appreciate it.
Many thanks
