Help with colour combination
By admin | February 9, 2009
I’m planning on our new kitchen and thinking of several different colour themes / cabinet style and having trouble determining colour combination. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The kitchen plan is U-shape.
Left side – from bottom to top in this order: wide pull-out pantry; fridge; narrow pull-out pantry; wall and base cabinet
Top side – from left to right: corner wall and base cabinet; wall and base cabinet; slide-in stove; wall and base cabinet; corner wall and base cabinet
Right side – from top to bottom: sink with base cabinet (facing window); dishwasher
Also a moveable island made from 15” and 30” base cabinet with wheels instead of legs.
Here is Plan 1:
Cabinets:
Pantry – Applad White / Abstrakt White
Wall – Applad White / Abstrakt White
Base – Nexue brown
Cover panel – Applad White / Abstrakt White
Countertop:
Granite – light or dark? Beige or dark brown?
Backsplash – ??? Glass random mix with beige, white and brown?
Wall colour – ??? We don’t want white or off-white.
Floor tile -???
We want a modern kitchen with a clean look.
Any suggestions for the colour of countertop, backsplash, wall and floor? Any other comments?
Our kitchen is kind of a stand alone room with dinning/breakfast area. Colour in other rooms won’t affect it.
Thanks.
